Receive an official Yoga Alliance approved certificate and register as an RYT !

  • Upon successfully completing your course, you will receive a Yoga Alliance approved teacher training certificate, which allows you to teach all over the world.

  • You can then also join Yoga Alliance as an official member and become a RYT Registered Yoga Teacher. While this is not required, we recommend doing so if you plan to teach professionally, run trainings and retreats, and issue certificates of your own.

  • ULU Yoga is a 200/300/500-hour registered school with Yoga Alliance (198078). Our courses are carefully designed, reviewed and approved by Yoga Alliance.

    **  Upon successfully completing this course you will receive a PDF certificate. We will also send you a beautifully signed and laminated certificate upon request.

Yoga Alliance is the number one internationally recognized organization for certifying yoga teachers. ULU Yoga graduates teach all over the world at yoga studios, fitness centers and resorts. We recommend to check with local yoga studios near you if they accept Yoga Alliance as a credible qualification to teach legally.

Upon successful completion of the RYT selected course, there will be NO special mention of the course being done Online. The certificate you receive is exactly the same certificate as if you had done the on-location course.

Courses are ongoing every month, however you can start any time that is most convenient for you. We’ve designed our courses so that you can follow the suggested schedule and attend live classes or work at your own pace. Finish in 1 month or take your time and finish in 1 year.

Daily Practice
Establish a core foundation with daily practice of hatha, vinyasa and yin yoga, plus pranayama and meditation. Receive workshops for injuries and adjustments, plus bonus aerial and acroyoga.

Analytics
Examine the form and function of key poses, learn about their common foundation and how to build upon them to achieve advanced variations, plus modify for different levels and student needs.

Anatomy & Physiology
Gain a deeper understanding of the structures and principles underlying each movement and of yoga itself. See how the spine, breathing, body positions and systems are all fundamentally linked.

Philosophy

Teaching and Exams
Design and submit several full length classes. Receive detailed feedback to grow and develop into a confident instructor. Also learn teaching skills plus other tools to succeed professionally.

Live Classes
Daily live zoom classes are a mix of physical practice and Q&A, covering all course subjects. Classes are recorded so you can watch later. The times vary to accommodate various time zones.

1)  Contact Hours: 100-150 hours
You will have over 100 hours of live stream classes via zoom with the other students and the instructor for guided asana practice, workshops and lectures on philosophy, anatomy, teaching methodology and teaching practice. These classes are recorded so you can watch them later as well.

2)  Non Contact Hours: 100-150 hours
You will teach other classmates via live stream with Zoom, record your self-practice, watch pre-recorded video modules and post live stream classes, design original classes, read assigned texts, write essays and take quizzes

3)  Core Content
ULU Yoga strictly adheres to Yoga Alliance standards regarding 1) Techniques, Training, Practice 2) Anatomy & Physiology 3) Yoga Humanities 4) Professional Essentials. Check online for Yoga Alliance Core Curriculum and RYS Guidebook.

4)  Teaching Materials
You will receive PDF’s and links to readings. Much of the content is derived from: Teaching Yoga by Mark Stephens, Hatha Illustrated by Martin Kirk, Light on Yoga by B.K.S. Iyengar, Yoga Anatomy by Leslie Kaminoff, Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Bhagavad Gita and Vedas.
